The S2Maui VENOM is born from the design experience of Artur Szpunar and Barry Spanier who have been creating winning sails for years and have "powered" many champions in the highest international and national competitions.
After an incredible 2018 in which S2Maui rider Delphine Cousin won 4 consecutive events with the VENOM becoming the PWA Slalom world champion, her excellent performances continue this season winning 2 PWA Slalom events. Antoine Questel, also with the VENOM, achieved the best results of his career in 2019. National riders from around the world this year have won the championships of Greece, France, Japan, Netherlands, Peru, and Hawaii

CAMBER ROTATION, WITHOUT HESITATION: The VENOM 2020 uses new low-friction, multi-roller cambers with reduced high-pressure footprint. Together with the specially studied curve and alternating downward batten pockets, the rotation is smooth, complete, and symmetrical.

EVEN FASTER WITH MORE POWER: locked-shaping in the lower sail, slimmer shape above the Boom combined with increased "Leeward Pre-Bend" make the profile extremely efficient and fast, while greater lift gives the sail additional power and acceleration

2020 LIGHTER CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVED DESIGN
- The lightest PWA champion slalom sail on the market
- Optimized panel/layout arrangement, expanded use of "Spacelight performance film" in the lower part of the sail.
- Increased lightness and reduced elasticity thanks to the expansion of Technora Spacelight TM "Bright Molten Red" and "Intense Metallic Blue" in the upper part of the Clew. All this also produces an immediate response and superior Leech reactivity
- Multiple full-length vertical front seams maintain the profile and resist stretch from downhaul tension.
- Upper "Light Tip" battens designed for a customized fit, with specific fittings further reduce the sail's weight in the most critical areas and speed up the Leech response.
- Carbon/Composite tubes with differentiated flexibility are carefully adapted to each batten position.
- New extra-resistant extended protection of the upper part of the Mast pocket
- Abrasion and wear protection of the two lower battens in the rigging areas during the Boom assembly
