CONCEPT OF TRIAD THRUSTER: Increase the performance of your thruster!
This is the Future. The new Fins - HATROPINA Triad Thruster - are super innovative. 3D designed, CNC machined, created with completely different materials from the fins on the market. These limited edition fins have a thin layer of wood (birch) core and 5mm resin outer walls. (similar concept to snowboards)
All this translates exactly into 50% less weight than a G10 fin and 30% less than a in plastic polymers.
Laminate with unidirectional fiberglass via resin infusion. The orientation of the unidirectional fiberglass layers ensures minimal fin flex along its depth while allowing control over tip flex. (Reflex/Flex/Cant) This model has 30 degree biaxial fibers to allow for a "Medium Flex".
The resin infusion process ensures that the laminates are optimally bonded to the wood core by penetrating deeper into the wood than a traditional lay-up would allow and this in a single epoxy curing process, this results in a very strong chemical bond creating a unique piece.
TRIAD CHARACTERISTICS AND PERFORMANCE:
High performance wave riding fin. The TRIAD excels in maneuverability and can be used in all wave conditions (ON/SIDE shore). The straight leading edge entry gives a fast planing which is great for On-Shore conditions. The pronounced rake from the center of the fin allows you to push hard through turns for solid bottom turns, a fast fin with great grip for powerful turns, outstanding in all conditions, from perfect side-shore days to windy on-shore. Thanks to its formidable flex and a reduced surface, it has a rapid response, board control in strong winds and chop is exceptional, corner entry and rail changes need less pressure.
