CONCEPT OF QUAD FUEL: Get gas to your Quad! This is the Future. The new Fins - HATROPINA Quad Fuel - are super innovative. 3D designed, CNC machined, created with completely different materials from the fins on the market. These limited edition fins have a thin layer of wood (birch) core and 5mm resin outer walls. (similar concept to snowboards)

All this translates into exactly 50% less weight than a G10 fin and 30% less than a plastic polymer one.

Laminate with unidirectional fiberglass via resin infusion. The orientation of the unidirectional fiberglass layers ensures minimal fin flex along its depth while allowing control over tip flex. (Reflex/Flex/Cant) This model has 30 degree biaxial fibers to allow for a "Medium Flex".

The resin infusion process ensures that the laminates are optimally bonded to the wood core by penetrating deeper into the wood than a traditional layup would allow and this in just one epoxy curing process, this results in a very strong chemical bond creating a unique piece.

FEATURES AND PERFORMANCE:

Maximum speed, maximum manoeuvrability, reactivity and early-planning are the main characteristics of these fins. Thanks to their symmetrical profile and lightness (half weight compared to a traditional set), the board is super free, zero drag effect, speed and traction. Relatively wide base for a good drive,  thanks to their sweep and flex they are very maneuverable in curves. in bottom turns they give grip when pushing off the bottom. The Medium Flex provides more grip and allows for tight turns, especially in slower waves. The relatively straight outline gives better 'pivot' for pocket riding,

The performances of these fins are exceptional in terms of flex, reflex, lightness and resistance to damage. Compared with the classic fins on the market, these fins have clearly superior performance.
