CONCEPT OF FERRO V2: is the new version of our Hi-Performance-Freestyle. Evolved freestyle board, with a compact, advanced and powerful shape.
Starting from the DNA of the V1 version, speed, instant pop, reactivity, wide range of use and of course super resistance, we have made significant changes to further improve these characteristics and give it more radicality. An additional element on which we have worked is to have maximum control performance and ease of use even in dirty and unstable conditions, such as choppy, ON_OFF and foam, up to the new freestyle in small and medium waves. So weworked a lot on the shape, and on the construction, now Made in Italy
SHAPE: completely drawn in 3D and executed with millimeter precision thanks to the use of the CNC-Machine. Flat area up to the mast zone and Power Vee bottom, straight Outline and super-fast flat Rocker ensure instant top speed, planing and lightning acceleration in short spaces.
LENGTH: length reduced to 212 now the Ferro is even more compact, manageable and light for fast rotations and under check. Thanks to its compactness, the rider remains close to the rig in a very comfortable position. This is very important not only for big-moves, but also for both regular and switch-stance gaits.
VOLUME: Distributed in a very balanced way, with the point of maximum thickness concentrated between the stance-area and the stern, for maximum planing cue, pop, acceleration and control.
STRAPS: double screw anti-twist to prevent twisting and absorb high loads. The position of the front straps is inclined by 2° to help switch entry and gait. In switch the position of the rider remains very central and stable.
Stern: modified the stern now square, 2cm narrower and further tapered to 10 and 20cm. We have thus obtained more top speed and less wet surface, which combined with sharp edges create great lift and power, acceleration and extra pop.
BOW: Low nose for maximum slide, tapered and compact bow to reduce weight, avoid board swing in chop and give fluidity to sliding-moves
RAILS: a lot of attention has also been paid to the now smoother edges (progressive rails). Soft in the front area for maximum slide, slightly edgy in the center to maintain planing and super sharp in the tail for release and maximum speed. The sharp edges from the tail to the stance-area make the board powerful, increase acceleration, top speed and grip. They also aid in control when cutting through chop.
CONSTRUCTION: thanks to the new construction MADE in ITALY we have dropped in weight by about 700gr. without affecting the resistance, indeed increasing it thanks to the articulated use of Carbon Biaxial 200 gr / UD Carbon 160gr and 125 gr.
Thanks to its extraordinary lightness (5.25kg) and reactivity, it urges riders to move towards new moves and more radical navigation.
The new design makes this board limitless, easily accessible to any freestyler, from the first move to high-double-moves! Always in control and super stable and with a very wide range.
