The S2Maui VENOM stems from the design experience of Artur Szpunar and Barry Spanier, who have been creating winning sails for years and have "powered" many champions in the highest international and national competitions.
After two years in which Delphine Cousin won with the VENOM 4 consecutive events becoming the PWA Slalom world champion with her excellent performances, winning events in both Slalom and PWA Foil. Antoine Questel, always with the VENOM, achieved the best results of his career. This year, national riders from all over the world have won the championships of Greece, France, Japan, Holland, Peru, and Hawaii

SHORTER LENGTH Boom AND CHORD: The 2022 VENOM features a reduced chord length (distance from the leading edge to the Leech) and a shorter Boom. This allows for tighter turns around the buoy and a more efficient aerodynamic profile.
SECOND EYELET: On the VENOM 2022, a second eyelet of Clew in INOX D209 has been added lower and towards the inside. This increases versatility and optimizes the sail for dual use on both the Fin and the foil, with the lower Clew allowing for a more vertical rake angle, suitable for foiling. The internal position of the second eyelet further reduces the length of the Boom.
MORE EXPLOSIVE AND DIRECT ACCELERATION: The VENOM 2022 features a newly optimized twist and a new panel layout that increases the use of monofilm, enhancing lightness for more responsive acceleration.
MAXIMUM SPEED AND EFFICIENCY: The revised and shorter chord length profile of the VENOM 2022, along with the three-dimensional profile and twist of the Leech and the pre-bend downwind, provide the maximum top speed and efficiency needed to reach incredible speed peaks.
WIND RANGE AND STABILITY: The shorter chord profile of the 2022 VENOM, the shape, and increased use of monofilm, together with S2Maui's exclusive super-light and powerful Technora Spacelight™ in the Leech, create perfect stability and an incredible wind range.
SMOOTH CAMBER ROTATION: VENOM 2022 uses low-friction camber, multi-rollers, and wide-footprint high-pressure S2Maui. The cam pressure has been carefully adjusted for a proper combination of stability, full rotation, and tuning. The lower cambers have pre-installed removable spacers for further fine-tuning.
OPTIMIZED LIFT: a careful study to achieve the perfect balance between lift and downforce keeps you perfectly balanced while "flying" over the water.
