Mast MAVERX SUPERLEGGERO Rdm 100% Carbon

This model represents the flagship of our collection and is a complete revision of the model that preceded it. Its performance is so high compared to other masts that we believe it will be a reference point for many years to come. The reflex, or reactivity, is the main feature we worked on while redesigning it. We used a new high modulus material impregnated with a resin of our own formulation obtained through the engineering of a new nanostructured epoxy resin that allows for greater toughness of the carbon fiber composite.

The result is an extremely reactive Mast as expected from the use of a high modulus, but with tensile, compression, and torsion resistance about 30% higher than a normal 100% made with a standard T800. The additional advantage is its lightness, the 370 weighs just over 1 Kg. In larger sizes (400-430-460) with the Mast mounted on larger wave, freestyle, or foil sails where the wind is less, the advantage is noticeably evident allowing for strong accelerations and early planing starts: in smaller sizes (340-370) where the wind is usually quite strong and planing is not a problem, the advantage is still substantially perceived by lighter riders or those who want their rig to be very light and take full advantage of its features. The profile of the Superleggero is slightly thinner at the top for greater reactivity, allowing the sail to exploit every single gust of wind.

WITHOUT COMPROMISES
The Superleggero is one of the lightest masts on the market, possibly the most performant in terms of reflex, it can easily withstand a series of one-handed backloops, representing carbon technology applied to windsurfing at its peak, it is essentially a wave-freestyle and foil Mast without compromises. All this comes at a price and it is the need to handle it with extreme care even during transport. It comes with a bag with double padding, but for those who are fortunate enough to have it, we ask to avoid impacts against rocks, seabeds, or even falls to the ground that could compromise its integrity. In short, it's like having a Formula 1 car in your hands that you must push to make the most of its features, but it must be driven carefully.
