New conception of wave boards "New school-Ultra compact". U-Topia is the Board ultra-short wave (from 200cm to 211cm) for on-shore/euro wave DIRTY conditions. The challenge was to create a Board super compact to make the most of non-ideal wave conditions. We used some of the latest trends in wave surfboard design, combined with our wave board philosophy. We created the U-TOPIA

We are super proud of this design because it sets us at a very high-performance level for a Board euro-wave, with a true "Fish surfy feel" unique in its kind.

 

SHAPE and DESIGN:

U-TOPIA has a sophisticated design and thanks to its sportiness, dynamism, and build quality, it combines an unmistakable experience.

Its minimalist, compact, and powerful parallel shape, perfectly balanced, has an engaging and intuitive feel, with exceptional versatility.

Board "stubby&loose" very fun for all types of waves and conditions. Agility, control, and comfort guarantee quick entries for intuitive surfing. Very versatile for a wave that goes from jumps, sliding moves, and snappy cut-backs, to aggressive and powerful surfing. It absolutely does not disdain Cross-Off-Shore conditions.

 

Planing, fast, equipped with a "medium" rocker, it allows quick and responsive top turns and offers great control in the chop. The Board has a "carver-skate feeling", compact and with a "short tail" very free underfoot that allows effortless direction changes and curves making it easier to surf small waves and in the pocket.

 

New optimized Shape with Thruster set-up to work in a wide range of wind and waves. Even if slightly wider, the Tail remains always "loose" and stable from the pocket to the highest waves. U-Topia quickly and vertically climbs the wave adapting easily to different curve angles. The feeling is of having underfoot and in the air a Board of lower volume and dimensions.

Shape completely designed in 3D and executed with millimetric precision thanks to the use of the latest generation CNC-Machine

Compact, parallel, and relatively narrow outline offers stability. The parallel edges offer less drag and provide ample lift for early planing, pop, aerials, and jumps. Tail Swallow Tail with high wingers. Given its compactness, the center of gravity is shifted towards Tail, allowing for more grip in long waves and extra thrust in tight turns, leaving the front very free for high jumps even on small waves. The central volume and flat stance area, inspired by wave surfing, provide a lot of stability and ease of use despite the reduced size, helping to overcome foam during the non-planing phase and the float-and-ride. Sharp rails in the Tail area provide traction and speed by creating lift-and-release, while the bow edges are soft and full, facilitating comfort and optimizing progressive maneuvers.
