FERRO: THE ULTIMATE MACHINE FOR TRICKS!
CONCEPT OF FERRO V2: is the new version of our Hi-Performance-Freestyle. Board evolved freestyle, with a compact, advanced, and powerful shape.
Starting from the DNA of the V1 version, speed, instant pop, reactivity, wide range of use, and naturally super resistance, we made significant modifications to further improve these characteristics and give it more radicality. An additional element we worked on is achieving maximum performance in control and ease of use even in rough and unstable conditions, like choppy, ON_OFF, and foam, up to the new freestyle among small and medium waves. So we worked a lot on the shape and the construction, now Made in Italy
SHAPE: completely designed in 3D and executed with millimetric precision thanks to the use of the CNC-Machine. Flat area up to the mast zone and Power Vee bottom, straight Outline and super-fast flat Rocker ensure top speed instantly, planing, and lightning-fast accelerations in short spaces.
LENGTH: length reduced to 212 now the Ferro is even more compact, manageable, and light for fast and controlled rotations. Thanks to its compactness, the rider stays close to the rig in a very comfortable position. This is very important not only for big-moves but also for stances both in regular and switch-stance.
VOLUME: Distributed in a very balanced way, with the point of maximum thickness concentrated between the stance-area and the Tail, for maximum boost in planing, pop acceleration, and control.
STRAPS: double anti-twist screw to prevent torsions and absorb high loads. The position of the front straps is inclined by 2° to aid entry and stance in switch. In switch, the rider's position remains very central and stable.
Tail: modified the Tail now square, 2cm narrower and further tapered at 10 and 20cm. This way we achieved more top speed and less wet surface, which combined with sharp edges create great lift and power, acceleration, and extra pop.
NOSE: Low nose for maximum slide, tapered and compact nose to reduce weight, avoid the swing of the Board in chop, and give fluidity to sliding-moves
RAILS: much attention was also paid to the edges (progressive rails) now more fluid. Soft in the front area for maximum slide, slightly edged in the center to maintain planing, and super sharp at Tail for release and maximum speed. The sharp edges from the Tail to the stance-area make the Board powerful, increase acceleration, top speed, and grip. They also help in control when cutting through the chop.
CONSTRUCTION: thanks to the new construction MADE in ITALY We have reduced the weight by about 700g without compromising resistance, in fact, increasing it thanks to the articulated use of Carbon Biaxial 200 gr / UD Carbon 160gr and 125 gr.
Thanks to its extraordinary lightness (5.25kg) and reactivity, it encourages riders to push towards new moves and more radical navigation.
The new design makes this Board limitless, easily accessible to any freestyler, from the first move to high-double-moves! Always in control and super stable with an extensive range.
