It was difficult to improve the previous version, but thanks to the completely Italian production, the use of state-of-the-art machinery in Carbon processing and new construction technologies, we have achieved a product of the highest level, precisely "for competition". LIGHTNESS: The Mast is incredibly light, every gust turns into power and speed while keeping the sail light and always with maximum comfort and control. The feeling of having a smaller and lighter rig in your hands improves maneuverability, makes sessions longer, and tires less.
REFLEX: Exceptionally fast reflex, which translates into an increase in your sail's performance, (similar to increasing horsepower in a car). The reflex also helps with break resistance because the flex-stretch value of the carbon fiber raw material is higher. We remind you that although the curve is an objectively important datum, the function of a Mast is not only to ensure a good sail profile but to return its profile to the optimal position as quickly as possible.
STRENGTH AND RELIABILITY: in the previous version (EVO V2 WAVE) in two and a half years of sales and testing, the breakage percentage was ZERO %, this makes us very proud of our work. Considering that we are talking about a 100% very light Mast and that especially in the 340 sizes it is mistreated and used in extreme wind and wave conditions.
The curve is a classic 63/76 which ensures perfect compatibility with most sails on the market today that are Constant Curve.
The special insert is glued with the precision that only Reglass can guarantee. The mushroom foam cap ensures cleanliness from dirt and sand inside the Mast (insert), prevents friction, and stuck masts are a distant memory. MAST BAG made in Italy to preserve the Mast during transport (read the label on the top to safeguard and protect the Mast)
Most brands today use T400-500 carbon for their top-of-the-line masts of Chinese production (in many cases they do not even declare the material used).
