Board HCK Hatropina Custom Board "SUPREME WAVE" Thruster

DESCRIPTION:

When our client commissioned us a Custom of 63lt volume, compact and super radical for side-side/off DTL conditions, we realized we would have to work hard! "Wow, practically a wave surfboard!"

With such extreme measurements, it is not easy to find the right balance and ensure that the Board works perfectly.

Well, after various projects, we succeeded, achieving perfect balance with extraordinary results. Starting from our Supreme Wave Quad, we worked extensively in 3D on the shape and volume distribution, which is not easy on a Board measuring 205 cm with 63lt. 

The goal was a very responsive Board that excelled in bottom turning, fast curves with large and steep waves.

We redistributed and added volume in the central area and around the Mast base to increase buoyancy in non-planing phases, offering greater ease in float-and-ride conditions.

The sharp edges, the swallow Tail, and the thruster setup with side fins with 1.5 degrees of toe-in make the Board very "grippy". All paired with our rocker #04 (Radical) for very radical surfing.

The high-quality H-Black construction in Biaxal full Carbon with Dyneema reinforcements makes the Board extremely light, stiff, and durable.

The Thruster configuration offers great speed combined with drive and grip, the more parallel edges in the central area reduce drag and increase stability and control. The sharp edges in the Tail area give grip and speed and create lift-and-release, allowing the fins to work freely and enabling effortless direction changes and turns. The softer and fuller front edges facilitate planing and comfort.

The mono concave shape condenses the water, which is then evenly distributed over a pronounced double concave in the central section that helps the Board to turn and provides grip, ending with a mono concave and a V shape in the Tail, which increases speed and fluidity of the Board.
