ALL-AROUND PERFORMANCE WAVE: Fast gliding and reaching maximum speed are the crucial elements of the GLOBAL, which lead to very high performance and great aptitude for jumping. Combined with a turning ability that allows the rider to push off with the back foot and concentrate on riding with the front foot. The Global has everything you need to perform in a wide range and variety of conditions. It is best suited to side-onshore and onshore conditions, while offering enough autonomy to feel comfortable even in side-shore conditions.
SHAPE DETAILS: The Global's outline is wider fore and aft than the Ho'okipa Quad, giving it additional stability and planing ability. The V bottom shape begins with a slight V at the entry to the nose area that continues into a V with a slight double concave in the midsection, transitioning into a clean V at the tail. The rocker line focuses on early planing and rapid acceleration which combined with the V, gives a turning ability comparable to other side-shore boards. The Global's rail shape has a light edge with a medium tuck through the nose and the center section that turns just behind the front foot area for maximum early planing and good acceleration.
