With the rapidly evolving Foil discipline, we have placed special emphasis on the development of the new Race-Foil weapon for the world cup, the EAGLE-FR 2021.
The EAGLE-FR replaces the V-FR from S2Maui with which Delphine Cousin won 2 consecutive PWA Foil world championships and Antoine Questel won one of the first Foil-slalom races in Costa Brava. Working together with feedback from Antoine, Delphine, Gabriel, and Micah, the new EAGLE-FR is designed to win!
Through rigorous testing and various modifications, we developed a specific twist model for foil racing, incredibly fast and efficient with tighter tension in the first 3 battens, allowing for progressive release from the Clew to the Head for perfect balance. The new profile of the EAGLE-FR has an aspect-ratio with a shorter chord, narrower Head width, a lower foot-area, and Clew cut for perfect balance and trim. The overall sail body tension has been slightly increased and, together with a flatter profile, a more advanced draft position, and a wider Mast pocket,

Incredibly light, the 2021 EAGLE-FR is built from the Head and throughout the Leech with the exclusive super lightweight and super durable Technora Spacelight™ from S2Maui, which reduces weight and provides an instant and responsive Leech reaction. The high-performance mono-film in the central body of the sail and the carbon tubular battens ensure total stability. S2Maui's low-friction race multi-roller cambers and alternate side pockets to the lower battens provide excellent, smooth, and complete cam rotation.
