I wanted to create a new bottom concept that incorporated the benefits of concave and V together, allowing for the fastest possible water flow in a wave board. What I've created is a mix of both, which I call Con-Vee.
The plank hull forward has a single full concave, flowing in a V through the stance within that concave, and finally aft with a full V.
This bottom gives the board super fast planing, increased top speed and keeps the planing longer and smoother
The bottom with a more accentuated double concave and close to the rails, allows for much more grip and thrust during cornering. Something you won't want to give up once you experience it.
The outline of the Pyramid Pro has changed as a result of the bottom, with a slightly fuller nose and slightly more parallel lines, thus allowing the outline, bottom and rocker to work in synergy
The new Pyramid Pro is mega-fast, turny, powerful and with great grip, qualities with which every progressive-wave board must be measured
